- <en>This printer is not to be confused with the P8 (no e ).
- <br>Danger Will Robinson: Despite this being a PCL printer,
- there is a slight annoyance. When the printer goes into
- power saver mode, any Windows-based access over a network
- requires that the printer be "woken up" before any serious
- printing can be done. This is, I think, because the LaserJet
- 4 doesn't have a "sleep" mode. Anyway, give it a kick with a
- text-based editor (like PFE from Windows) and then it
- works fine. Accessing the controls for the printer to turn
- Power Save mode off permanently can only be done from Windows,
- AFAIK so I'm still looking for a way around this.
- Also, toner cartridges are very expensive (3 carts == 1 P8e)!</en>
